They accuse people with no proof (most of the time the person they are accusing is an imposter)
Instead of trying to do tasks, they roam around the map.
Even an imposter that is a master at killing stands no chance against quick chat players because as SOON as somebody accuses you, you better hope it's skipped, or a tie.

Hi guys I know the quick chat text feature ain't new but i do know i dislike it i honestly feel like among us was ruined when they made it because now i cant say "Red vented or Greens the shapeshifter."
Mods
I like the mods but its quite rare to get shapeshifter And its a real pain in me when i get Plain old crewmate because i have more potential then that.

Hey guys, this is my first post here on the Among Us Wiki and I wanted to ask you guys a question. Do you guys prefer the Among Us of 2019 or the Among Us of 2020/2022? I know there are many people saying that they prefer the Among Us of 2020/2022, but I sincerely prefer the Among Us of 2019 because not only is this version nostalgic to me, but because of the following reason:
There was no Quick Chat.
The Quick Chat, added in version 2021.2.21, is basically what many players claim that made the game lose popularity back in 2021. As before, the game's chat was simple and easy to use.

I've been seeing a ton of posts in this wiki about Quick Chat ruining the game.
My first question is what part of the game is Quick Chat ruining?
The game was never for <13. But since kids can't read the age gap, they continue to play it. (hey I smell GTA SA in here)
Now, a report system has been added. And reports are being reviewed by actual humans. But since they're also trying to obey with COPPA law, they have to seperate the information, to know that the someone that was reported is 13+. That's why Accounts have been added.
Secondly, Quick Chat was added. Why? To prevent kids from revealing personal information to others.
You might say "OH BUT IN (insert game here) THEY ALLow CHIDLERen TO EXpsoe THEIR INFO So WHy shuLDNT AMonGU S do THAt"
No, that's not what they intended for children playing their game to do.
And before you get me started on the " OH BUT I CANT CHAT Ev ne YhoUGHT i MAde an ACcoutn@!!!!!" bull****. Everyone obviously knows where chat settings go, It's the Settings.
And since you people will probably be complaining about not knowing how to create an account, here's how.
Outside of Among Us (there's a reason why)
Install Google Play Games
Create a Google Play Games profile
Inside of Among Us
Open Among Us
(OPTIONAL!) If first time playing, set your birthdate to anything 13+. If you aren't then, what are you even doing here?
Tap Red on the top left of your screen.
Tap Sign In/Sign Up.
Use your Google Play Games profile/tap the email of your choice when asked for. It's required for a reason.
After successfully making an account, tap the Gear Icon.
Tap Data.
Tap the option that lets you choose whether you want Free Chat and Quick Chat, or Quick Chat only.
That's it. I still can't believe people are complaining about this. Hopefully Innersloth adds a tutorial on making an account.
Ever since Airship came out, we can't use quick chat anymore! It's not working anymore. Why?
Ok so i'm seeing that there's a lot of things people are saying innersloth should get rid of with the new update. Ima put them in a list. This is all my opinion if u agree let me know in comments or whatever it is on fandom.
Quick chat should be available in addition to free chat
Quick chat should have more options for under 13 year olds
Account system should not just be google play games. You should be able to sign up with a username and password
You should be able to choose your name freely but the random name should still exist for if you cant think of anything
Basically everything they added except the new map needs some serious help.
Think of as many options you want added to Quick Chat. Mine are:
(a) faked a task/ (a) didn't fake a task
(a) did a visual task/ (a) didn't do a visual task
It was not a self-report
What?/ How?/ Why?
(a) was near the body/ (a) was not near the body
(a) was away from device
