Application

Moderator and up

To apply for any moderator and up position, you must:

  • Meet the requirements listed above
  • Write at least one paragraph (around seven sentences) about why you think you should get that position. Some recommended topics are:
    • How would you like to improve the wiki?
    • How have you demonstrated moderator qualities in the past?
    • How will you help the community?
  • Click one of the buttons below to open an application request

Note: If you already applied for that position and the page already exists, add a (1) to the end of username field (or higher if needed).

Failure to meet the requirements will result in your application being declined and deleted (you still can reapply once you meet the requirements).

Members of the community (who have a registered account and at least 5 edits or posts) can respond to your application by either voting to support, oppose, or be neutral on the proposals. They must include at least one sentence of reasoning.

Responses will be open for 10 days, unless there is controversy. After that period, the bureaucrats and admins will review the responses and if they are positive, conduct an interview. The interview will include some practice scenarios for the position. If the interview is successful, you will gain the rights in a "trial" period which will last one month at minimum. During the trial period, your actions will be monitored by the staff. You may have your rights removed during that period if you are unfit for the job.

Rollback

To apply for rollback, you must message a bureaucrat on their message wall with at least two sentences explaining why you think you should get that position. Rollback rights will expire after three months, so once it expires you must reapply to regain the right.
