The Batbean is a hat in Among Us. Prior to version 2022.11.9, it was obtainable for free on all platforms during Halloween. Color variations are obtainable through the Treat Cosmicube for 100 each.

Appearance

The Batbean appears to be a black rectangular hat with orange eyes, as well as small ears at the top which each have a maroon inside.

Recolors

• Grey: the hat is recolored to gray, the eyes are recolored to yellow, and the ears' insides are recolored to a darker gray.
• Snow: the hat is recolored to white, the eyes are recolored to blue, and the ears' inside are recolored to light pink.
• Pink: the hat is recolored to pink, the eyes are recolored to green, and the ears' insides are recolored to white.
• Orange: the hat is recolored to orange, the eyes are recolored to green, and the ears' insides are recolored to a darker orange.

Trivia

• When a player wearing this hat is killed by An Impostor, the eyes of the hat each become an "X", implying that the hat itself may be a living thing, or perhaps part of the Crewmate's organic body.
  • This feature is similar to that of the Floaty Flamingo and the Headslug.
• The game asset for the Batbean was redrawn in version 2021.3.31 as well as version 2021.6.15.
