Decontaminate is a short task in Among Us, featured on The Airship.
Overview[]
To complete Decontaminate, the player must step into the shower in Main Hall and use the hose. A percentage portraying how dirty the player is will appear on the player's screen and gradually decrease as the player cleans. When the percentage hits 0%, the task is complete.
Trivia[]
- Although the visual effect of Decontaminate (steam appearing in the user's perspective) is visible to the player performing the task, it is not a visual task, as the visual effect cannot be seen by other players nearby.
- The progress will be saved if the player exits the task when decontaminating. However, the name of the task on the task list will appear as white instead of yellow.
- This is the first and only task to have one word as its name.
