Electrical is a location in Among Us which is present on The Skeld, Polus, and The Airship.

Overview[]

The Skeld[]

On The Skeld, Electrical is a room that has wires running across the floor and walls and other electrical appliances, such as a distributor and a generator. The entrance is located in the middle of the hallway between Storage and Lower Engine, to the lower left of the map. The middle of the room features a panel to fix the Fix Lights Sabotage. At the back, there are panels for all of the tasks located here. There is a vent located under the Download Data panel, which is connected to those of Security and MedBay. The Calibrate Distributor is to the top right of the room, the Fix Wiring panel is on the top center, the Download Data panel is to the top left and the Divert Power panel is between the Wiring panel and the Download Data panel.

Polus[]

On Polus, Electrical is a room connected to Security and O2, having an exposed area that contains electricity generators and a transparent wire fence. The panel to fix the Fix Lights Sabotage is located in the outside area. There are panels for Download Data and Fix Wiring inside, with the former panel being to the right of a window, while the latter panell is to the right. A vent is located at the end of the corridor, near the Security entrance, and connects to a vent outside Electrical and O2. There is also a security camera outside the right exit of Electrical. While Security is directly inside Electrical, O2 is separated by a hallway connecting it and Electrical. The doors of the hallway, the exit to Outside and the generators room can be closed.

The Airship[]

On The Airship, Electrical is made up of many small rooms, each connected with randomly-opened doors making it like a maze. The doors will always be opened in a pattern that allows the player to reach any exit from any other exit and allow all rooms to be accessible. There are three exits to Electrical. The left exit, which has a hallway leading to Security; the top exit, with a ladder leading to Main Hall; and the right exit, which leads to Medical. There's also an extra room above the top-right room, which contains the Divert Power panel to the left. The Calibrate Distributor panel is in the top center room, while the Reset Breakers panels are: on the center left (panel located to the left side), center (one for each side), bottom center (panel located to the right), top right, center right (both rooms have a panel on the left side) and bottom right (panel to the right) rooms.

The Skeld[]

On The Skeld, there is a vent in the top-left corner which leads to the vents in MedBay and Security.

Polus[]

On Polus, there is a vent on the left near Security that connects to the vents in O2 and outside Electrical.

On The Airship, there is a ladder in the top-left room which leads to Main Hall.

Door Sabotage[]

The Skeld[]

On The Skeld, the door to Electrical can be Sabotaged and be closed for ten seconds before reopening.

Polus[]

On Polus, the right door, the door leading to the Fix Lights panel and the door leading to O2 can be closed, and must be manually fixed by flicking four switches.

Fix Lights[]

Impostors can Sabotage Electrical on The Skeld and Polus, which causes Fix Lights. This reduces the vision of living Crewmates and prevents the emergency button from being used.

Trivia[]

  • Electrical used to be named "Electric".
  • MIRA HQ does not house this location, but the ability to resolve Fix Lights is still available in Office, and the first stage of Divert Power is in Reactor.
  • On The Skeld, Electrical houses many tasks that are located near the vent, possibly making it a dangerous location for Crewmates. The Airship's Electrical is just as (if not even more so) dangerous due to its maze-like and changing layout.
  • On The Skeld, Crewmates have the chance to catch Impostors venting in the act by hiding in the wires located behind the Fix Lights panel. This was proved by LazarBeam in one of his videos, but a player must also know if there are Engineers on the game.
  • Although the button on The Airship's Sabotage map used to cause Fix Lights is in Electrical, the Sabotage has panels to fix it in Gap Room, Viewing Deck, and Cargo Bay - rather than Electrical.
  • Although the file for Fix Wiring in the Task Tester 2000 on The Airship is in Electrical, there is no Fix Wiring task in the room.
