Options control how several different parts of the game work in Among Us. Only the host of a lobby can change the options, which is done on the customize laptop. However, some options are set on lobby creation and cannot be changed.
Lobby creation[]
Some options are only available while creating an online lobby and cannot be changed afterward. These can be changed via customize in local lobbies, however. Underlined values represent the default values.

The choices for "Max Players" also depends on how many Impostors there are:
- 1 Impostor - minimum 4 players
- 2 Impostors - minimum 7 players
- 3 Impostors - minimum 9 players

- In an older version of Among Us, the host could not change the number of Impostors or the map used once the lobby was created.
