- Guide
This article is the strategy section for Discussion.
Some important topics of discussion include, but are not limited to:
Crewmate[]
- Whether or not anyone saw An Impostor kill or use a vent.
- Who has been acting suspiciously.
- Whoever is a confirmed Crewmate.
- Where everyone was on the map at the time of the meeting.
- Where a dead body has been found.
- Share information about the tasks you have and make plans.
- Share information about who can be trusted.
- Impostors cannot fake visual tasks, which means that any player you see completing a visual task can be trusted. There are 4 visual tasks, they are Submit Scan, Prime Shields, Clear Asteroids and Empty Garbage. On The Skeld, all four are visual. On MIRA HQ, only Submit Scan is visual. On Polus, Clear Asteroids and Submit Scan are visual. On The Airship and The Fungle, there are no visual tasks.
- You should use this information to plan strategies and to find The Impostor(s).
- If there is one player you've been with the entire game and not let out of your sights during An Impostor round, and someone else dies, you two can vouch for each other and effectively reduce the amount of guessing there would have to be.
- Not speaking at all during meetings, particularly if you have reported a body, is a way to arouse others' suspicion. Furthermore, calling an emergency meeting for no reason at all can very easily annoy most other players and cause them to vote you out.
Impostor[]
- Do not accuse too many people, as this may make you seem suspicious. However, staying quiet the whole round might be just as bad. Go with the crowd and vote out as many Crewmates as possible.
- If another Impostor gets suspected, try to cover for them. However, this can be risky, as if they are discovered, you might be voted off for supporting them. If another Crewmate happens to have buddied up with one of your allies and is vouching for them, then it is safer to play along.
