Among Us Tips

Hello guys! Amelia here, and it's my first blog post! No, I didn't write this to get the badge. It's to share my best strategies and tips in Among Us with you all! You might already know some of them, and a few of them certainly have flaws. But some of these tips can certainly come in handy one day!

Crewmate Tips

1. Always stick close to 2 people. That way, when the game only has 4 or less players, you know who to vote for.
2. Finish your tasks! Even if the impostor(s) are trying their best to sabotage or kill the Crew, they can't delete tasks! Also, a word of advice: finish your tasks QUICKLY. you'll see why.
3. After you finish your tasks, do some investigation. Remember, the impostor won't stand at the same spot and kill in front of other people on purpose.
   1. You can find out who IS the impostor first. Check for any suspicious activity by going to the admin and security center. For example, if two people are in a room, and one person suddenly disappears and another person suddenly appears in a room, they might be the same person. They might have done that by venting, so check the room where the person reappeared and call emergency meeting ASAP.
      1. Check for faked tasks as well.
   2. Then, finding out who IS the impostor is not the only important thing. You can also find out who is NOT the impostor, and once you've found out everyone except one person who is not suspicious, you know who to vote for.
4. If a person is acting suspiciously in a place away from the emergency button, rush to another place with a person there.
5. Trust people. Don't randomly accuse people for "following you" or "not doing their tasks". You need enough evidence to vote someone out!

Impostor Tips

1. Don't act suspicious. If you're the game host, set the game settings so that the task bar only updates after a meeting.
2. Avoid faking visual tasks. Players aren't all dumb and they can see that you are sus if you fake a visual task.
3. Don't kill in front of 2 or more people. If you want to kill a person with another person watching, that's still okay, just kill and self report.
4. Vent only when your kill cool down is over. That way, if anyone sees you vent, you can kill him/her. Note that the cool down will not process in the vent, you have to be visible for your kill cool down to end.
5. Sabotage lights. The electrical is the most "closed" space, and once everyone rushes there, you can sneakily kill one of them and self report.
6. Go to security. Pretend that you are "spying" for suspicious activity.
7. Sabotage and fix it. Help fix the sabotage to gain trust and not get voted out during an emergency meetin.
